The CSS W65 is a multifunctional wind farm service operation vessel (SOV) based on the proven 84m CSS hullform design. The primary features of the vessel are:
- 25T knuckle boom crane,
- 26m reach telescoping gangway with elevator and 300kg equipment transfer capability
- 12.8T rated helideck
- accommodation for up to 120 people.
Although primarily designed as a wind farm mother ship with a 12m crew transfer vessel and a variety of crew transfer options for safe personnel transfer, the vessel is classed as an MOU which allows for the additional flexibility of working in oil field operations as an accommodation service vessel.

The VARD 1 311 is the first US flagged dual fuel offshore supply vessel that will have the American Bureau of Shipping’s ENVIRO+ certification. The vessels will be constructed with certified environmentally friendly material and will meet the highest emissions standards.
US Patent No. US 8,690,622 B2, was awarded to Vard Marine Inc. This patent is applicable to: a small size, self-propelled floating vessel having a dual fuel system, monohull or catamaran hull shape with an overall length ranging from sixty meters to one hundred and seventy meters, azimuthing thrusters, and with LNG tank capacities between 100cbm and 1200cbm. Four vessels have been delivered and two are currently under construction.

The VARD 1 310 is a series of six vessels designed for Hornbeck Offshore. The design is slightly longer than the VARD 1 302 design which was a four vessel delivery to Hornbeck Offshore as well.
These vessels are all designed to meet the requirements of ENVIRO, FFV-1, and DPS-2 notations from the American Bureau of Shipping. The HOS Bayou, the first of the VARD 1 310 series to be delivered, had a helideck installed post-delivery.

The VARD 1 301 for Harvey Gulf International Marine is based on the VARD 1 300 vessels and is an Offshore Support Vessel with approximately 5,650 DWT. It is well suited for world-wide operations, meeting all of the latest Marpol and IMO regulations. The VARD 1 301 is designed to service offshore installations in terms of carrying:
- Deck cargo with a deck load capacity of 5mt/m2
- Liquid cargoes such as mud, drill water, fresh water, fuel etc.
- A combination of deck cargo and liquid cargo at a maximum deadweight according to load line
